Hi Uncle Ned!!
I have a Redfin Prochilodus that is living in my boyfriends tank because he is too little to put in my 150gallon tank with my huge fish. Unfortunately, his fish don't like my Prochilodus. So I am going to buy another tank to raise him in until he gets about 6". Does tank size matter as far as growth of a fish? What is the smallest size tank I can get for him to grow up in and then transfer over?

Thanks!!

prochilodus are delicate
get bit by other fish easily
and need lots of food

I'd suggest a 20 gallon or larger tank
(These are on sale here)
leave the light on 24 hours to grow lots of algae
and feed spirulina disks and or spirulina flake
often

beautiful fish 'tho !!!
