CITY WATER...ATTENTION MILLIS & HOLLISTON
______________________________________

attention: Millis, Mass. customers

We got this note from the Town of Millis:

TO: MILLIS WATER CUSTOMER
YOUR WATER SERVICE WILL BE
TEMPORARILY DISRUPTED
ON DECEMBER 1st, 2005
IN ORDER TO FACILITATE REPAIRS
TO THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.
IF DISCOLORATION OF THE WATER OCCURS AFTER SERVICE HAS BEEN RESTORED,
ALLOW YOUR OUTSIDE WATER TO RUN UNTIL THE WATER IS CLEAR.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
MILLIS, MA
508 376 5424

Please adjust the timing of your water changes accordingly.
Best thing to do is do your normal water changes
Wednesday November 30.
It is always a good idea to use a dechlorinator
for new water going into your aquarium.
The products Novaqua & Aquatan
also have a metal detoxifier as well as dechlorinator.

Also Holliston recently had a water problem,
so Holliston Public Works Department
has overdosed the chlorine they add.
So Holliston aquarium keepers should also use
Novaqua or Aquatan or similar products
when adding new water to their tanks.

If your water has a wierd color or smell,
DO NOT put it in your tank.
I also suggest a pH test
of both the tank water & the tap water
before putting the water in your tank.
