I have a tank that suffered a run-in with ich that ended about a month ago. I've been a little paranoid since, and watching the tank often. Very occasionally I see one of my fish scratch against either a plant or the gravel. It certainly isn't as frequent as when I've had really sick fish, I'd say for every hour I spend observing, I might see one of the three fish scratch once, if that.

All the fish are eating fine, and I don't think I ever would have noticed if I hadn't been obsessively watching for this. They don't seem to have gotten any worse in the weeks since their ich treatment ended (on the contrary, the one remaining case of cloudy eye just cleared up.) Is this normal behavior, or should I be worried?

Thanks!
-Josh

treat again for ick

do a big gravel stir and water change before treating
(ick loves thick dirty gravel)

it can only help

sometimes a few cysts survive
hatch and re-infest
