I recently bought a yo yo loach, thinking that it would help keep the snail population down by eating them...but it's completely ignoring the snails.

Any idea why? I have a small tank (30 gal.) and I wanted something to get rid of the snails without chemically bombing the tank, and without the snail eater getting too large.

Help!

should be just a matter of time...
try putting NO food in the tank for 2 days,
and leave the lights off most of the time for 2 days
