Would anybody be willing to advise me of how to set up a thriving Discus habitat. I have my ideas based on an Oceanic 42 gal stretch hex. I plan to use driftwood, rock, live plants, and low level lighting. For filtration would it be better to use canister(Eheim) or BioWheel (Emperor/Penguin)? I also plan on maybe having some small Tetra (or maybe Blue Rams?) in the mix. Any other suggestions/ideas/critiques would be very welcome. I am trying to save for this project, so a lot of time will be invested in the planning and conception of this dream! Thank you in advance for any feedback.

42 gal stretch hex. good tank
I plan to use driftwood, rock, live plants, and low level lighting.
plants for low light include Anubias, crypts, dwarf lilys
For filtration would it be better to use canister(Eheim) or BioWheel (Emperor/Penguin)? filter doesn't matter.
I also plan on maybe having some small Tetra (or maybe Blue Rams?) in the mix... Anything that likes it warm.
