| Hi Guys, my friend Linda said she broke down her planted tank and brought all the livebearers to you, but forgot what they were called. Her population was from a starter group (12+) originally from me. They are bright yellow with black markings. These are H-Class "Tiger" Endler's Livebearers. H-class are HYBRID, crosses with fancy guppies, but a strain which is stabilized and breeds consistently true to form. They were developed by Adrian HD at Swamp River Aquatics. Here is a link to the Tiger H-class E.L.'s: http://swampriveraquatics.com/id8.html This population has a lot of males with the black-tuxedo body pattern (2nd photo). Also, you can see the picture below of the "red fin Tiger Hybrids" - the group I have does throw an individual with red in their tails regularly. Anyhow, Linda said she'd dropped off probably 50+ fish, and these are very healthy, prolific tank raised fish, so I thought folks might want to know what they are. Also, I need to thin down my own population, so if there is interest, let me know - I can bring more in as well. -Jane |
