This might be a bit too nerdy even for this forum, and yet... Bought about 3 dozens H. Rhodostomus 5 years ago with 3 mystery fish coming for the ride. Most are still doing fine (perhaps as a result of years of calorie restriction due to the intimidating presence of large discus, who are now defunct). I'd never tried very hard to figure out what the "contaminants" were until tonight. What tickled me was that once I found out what they were, I couldn't find any reference to H. Bellottii on this forum. It would appear I have enjoyed one of the rarest tetra in the hobby for the last five years, and finally put a name on them fish. Or perhaps they are not so rare. Just nobody bothers writing about it.

Best I could do. They are quite nice.
And they live more than 2-4 years as one author suggests. Going on (or a little past) 6 for this one.
