This probably isn't even the forum or the place for this. But ya know what, its been almost a year now and I can't believe I haven't posted this on the internet at all yet. Well, I only go online really to research my fish. So I guess I'll just post this on the fish forums I check out. Any fans of the original Alice Cooper group will appreciate this. Were talkin' Billion dollar babies, Love it to Death, Schools out, etc... I kept in touch with Neal Smith and Dennis Dunnaway for a while, (ive just always been a huge cooper freak). Well, when I got home from Iraq, I had the opportunity to meet up with Neal, Dennis and yep Alice. Great group of guys. Neal and Dennis actually have a new band together with Joe Bouchard( blue oyster cult) called BDS (Bouchard Dunnaway and Smith.) Lets just say my collection of all original cooper memorabelia is complete with all their sigs. It was just surreal to be hanging out with all these guys, oh yeah our wives were there to. Neal Smith, Alice, me, Dennis Dunnaway Sorry, I just had to post them somewhere. Joe |

I love Alice Cooper but... here's a good one... listen to "Elected" (can't remember which album) by Alice Cooper then listen to "Quadropheenia" (can't remeber which cut) by The Who. I don't know which album came out first but I think either Pete was listening to Alice or Alice was listening to Pete when they were writing. (Both 1973 ????) |

Elected is on "Billion Dollar Babies" 1973, not sure about the year on "Quadrophenia." But I do know members of the Who would Jam at the Cooper groups mansion in CT at that time. I know at least Keith Moon did. |

Actually, after I find The Whos "Quadrophenia" and listen, I will ask Neal Smith about it. I know he or Dennis would at least be able to confirm any jams. |
