Post subject:  Bushy Nose Pleco or Panda Garra?

I am building a biotope tank for Myanmar, Asia. I currently have a bushy nose Pleco, but it is not native to Myanmar. Panda Garra's are native to that area. Would they be a good substitute for cleaning the algae in my 36 Gallon tank? Current setup: 36 gallon tank, 100 gallon Fluval cannister filter, 9 Danio Choprai, 8 Odessa Barbs and the bushy nose in the tank right now. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi TJD,
I was the guy who scooped your danios and we chatted about loaches.
Did you still want to try loach(es) in there ?

there are a number of them from Myanmar - offhand in a quick search online I found Botia kubotai, Botia dario, Yunnanilus brevis, Botia histrionica, Acanthocobitis botia, Schistura similis, Pangio oblonga and Pangio pangia .
Some of those are fairly common in the hobby, some less so, but they are quick examples of what you might want to consider.

Thanks,
Rich
