| What filter do you recommend for a 55gal of 4 Threadfin Cichlids?? I have a eheim ecco but wondering what the best media and things..... Eheim ecco is fine I would use ceramic rings and foam sheets or blocks no carbon carbon is bad for the cichlids' skin |

| Is the no carbon rule in play for africans cichlids? am running 2 406 fluvals on a 75 gallon and have quite a bit of carbon filtration bags in them.....Ive been reading lately that carbon really isnt needed....one site went so far as to call it a huge scam....curious where your opinion is on this? |

| skip the carbon just use filter foam |
