| Greetings! I am in the field in the Phoenix Islands until the end of September. This is one of the most remote locations on earth, and far from any local human impacts. We are here to gather data on a relatively pristine coral reef system, in order to calibrate health indices for the rest of the world's reefs, most of which are crumbling under siege from human impacts.
