Should you turn off your CO2 system at night when your lights go off or should you leave it on during the night?

I would say in very soft (low KH tanks)
would not be a bad idea to turn it off,
because the plants make co2 at night, and your tank of course will continue putting in co2

if your pH and KH are both high
probably doesn't matter

co2 is not expensive
but of course you will use half the co2 if you turn it off at night
