you totally took it the wrong way

I'm blaming the Czechs...

obviously they listed stuff
and substituted without telling me

after you made me aware of the problem
I realized they did that with a lot of my order
tetras, killis, rainbows

some of those substitutions didn't matter that much
because most people just want a pretty fish

I never change the name of a fish I'm sold
unless I KNOW it was incorrectly identified FOR SURE

I wasn't trying to cheat you
the Czechs were trying to cheat me

the last time I pre-posted Czech fish for special order
I didn't even list the Vics
...obviously they were unlikely to ship the correct ones

but if they sub say an orange Apistogramma
for a red Apistogramma
it not a big deal
....but if they sub a rare Vic for a cross bred fish
it matters to the customers

so
anyway
I won't do Czech Vics anymore

hopefully I will find some good sources elsewhere

the problem is when I get Czech stuff
it comes from probably dozens of breeders,
none of whom I know personally

obviously
some are good (cuz from what I understand, you were happy with some of them)
and some are bad

you have a right to be particular

basically
I won't order the Czech fish again
because they were not good enough

so
I'll stick with breeders I know

if you have a connection in France or anywhere with good new stock
go for it ....
I don't have a connection for good new Victorians ...
just 2 partys in the States that I trust

by the way i just herd from greg steves he got all that were sent to daves rare fish and he has all females, so i have the male, im working real hard at getting them established in the country from 1 group.

if things go the way i think they will from over seas ill let you know.
