I brought home a red congo puffer a few months back and its been an amazing fish... but I am always frustrated when I can't take fish keeping that extra step further and attempt to breed what I am keeping.
Sooo... when zebra puffers "Carinotetraodon salivator" appeared on a list I was quick to order four of them. I have a 33 gallon long, heavily planted, just for them... I am hoping that they will choose to breed rather than rip each other appart. Of course I have dividers at the ready if need be.
Does anybody out there in Fish land have any info on this genus of puffers? I have searched the web extensively and found some evidence that they may not kill each other imediately - but if any of our costumers have personal experience with any of the red-eyed puffers - I would love to hear about it!
Thanks
