Hi Ned. Belated Merry Christmas.

You used to ship fish to me on Long Island back in the 1980s. I see you've expanded a bit since then.

I'm in PA now and still breeding Africans along with some catfish(Ancistrus, petricola). Branching out to some livebearers (Monty swords, RT and rainbow goodieds) and New World cichlids(Aequidens metae, C. compressiceps and C. regani dwarf pikes). Also trying L46 and L134.
Have a Happy New Year.

Tom

Hi Ned

I currently have about 15 Paracyp. nigripinnis(1"), 8 N. helianthus(<1") and a whole mess of Telmatochromis sp. "orange scribble" 1" or less. Also 5 2"-3" P. igneopinnis, 4 2"-3" Pseudo sp. "flameback" and 4 2"-3" Tilapia snyderae(Lake Bermin). I sold off the breeders of all of these fish and that is what is left over. After reading the Buntbarsche Bulletin(snyderae) and Cichlid News(igneopinnis) write ups, I may try breeding them again. Growing out are Tilapia gutturosa (also Lake Bermin) and red hump geos. In the non cichlid arena I have about a dozen albino ancistrus(1-1.5") and 8 longfin ancistrus(1-1.5"). Those breeders are gone too so I can concentrate on the L046, L134 and albino longfins.
Are you going to NEC convention?

I'm going for sure this March.

The Schedule:
First time drinkers will be having an alcohol-poisoning meltdown
about 4:45 pm Friday.
Uncle Ned will be having a Sambuca induced meltdown
about 6:05 pm Friday. (Resistance, you know.)
Wierd monkey noises heard
and curious & concerned security personel appearring about 6:06 pm Friday.
3:30 am Saturday morning: Uncle Ned wheeled in general direction of hotel room by Uncle Ariel & Uncle Steve.
Most interesting & important speakers start their talks about 5:30 am Saturday morning. Uncle Ned absent from these these events.
1 pm Saturday afternoon: Uncle Ned comes down to "Camp Anaconda" speaker's hall in time to catch talk:
BORING GRAY LIVEBEARERS & BARBS THAT KILL EXPENSIVE FISH: STILL RELEVANT?
presented by Steve White, PhD.
1:05 pm Saturday afternoon, Uncle Ned appearing at bar,
orders $9 shot of Sambuca.
1:10 pm Saturday afternoon, Uncle Ned deliberately loses game of pool, in order to encourage rube opponet (or anyone, for that matter) to play another game.
A delicious banquet Saturday Night of Fritos & Lettuce,
only $109.95 per plate.
(I was so full last time I barely had room for raw live rare cichlids.)
Many good speakers.
Anton Lambog is speaking on West Africans.
Uncle Rosario is just speaking, and speaking, and speaking.
(I kid, he knows that.)
