The meet will focus on Discus Basics with a presentation by Mr. Au.
Mr. Au has been an active aquarist and discus enthusiast for over 50 years. He credits his ongoing success in raising and breeding beautiful discus to keen observation, patience and practice rather than relying on measurements and formulate. In addition to being a veteran speaker and show judge, he is also an accomplished author. His publications include two books on discus as well as numerous articles for TFH, FAMA and Aquarium Fish International magazines. Most recently, he was a speaker and show judge at the 2006 Tetra Discus Championship (Singapore), 2007 ACA Convention (Sacramento) and 2007 Aquarama (Singapore) as well as at many local aquarium societies.
