I bought a number of adolescents from Ned in part because he said they were fairly peaceful (for Jewel Cichlids). As always, Ned was right. They have their spats, but they all seem to know their place in the pecking order, so no one comes out hurt. I'm sure it helps that I have ten (I think) of them together.

Anyway, as adolescents they show only a hint of their full color, so I thought I'd share a couple adult pictures...
