I plan on re-using crushed coral substrate that has been in storage for a couple of years. In an attempt to whiten/remove the yellow tinge, I'm wondering if soaking the crushed coral in bleach is a good idea? I assume if I rinse thoroughly it should not be a problem. I just need confirmation before I attempt this. Any feedback and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't know
it's pretty cheap to just buy new

most people use one half to one pound per gallon
