Hi NED , Im thinking of using sand in my new setup. Its a 29gal. and going to put some smaller type fish like neons. Do you like using sand? Im going to use a canister type filter with it. Is some sand better than other? THANKS......... TOM A.

I'd suggest number Zero
or number One natural gravel...
$15 per 50 pound sack
both are in stock
...I can get even finer sand if you wish

sand And Zero & One gravel aren't that good with power filters
because they get _ in and ruin impellars

but
they work fine with canisters cuz the impellar is on top of the canister
