yeah. one of my fish a dalmation mollie is sick. 2 days ago it just started laying on the gravel bed in the corner lethargically moving its fins. at this point i noticed tail rot so i quaratined it. yesterday i developed a whitish film on its body. it does not appear to be ich because i have seen ich on goldfish and it is more grainular. this appear to be more of a whitish slime. i have raised the temp to 82f but have refrained from medication so far. i have also not used salt either. any suggestions.

go ahead and give it
2 TEAspoons of salt
per 1 GALLON of aquarium water
...also use tetracyclene or erythromycin or Fungus Cure at the same time as the salt

any brand is fine

change water and re-dose at least every 2 days

I had an outbreak among my bettas of something that sounds similar, if not exactly the same, last x-mas. Still dunno how to cure it. If anything works, let me know.
