I wondered where people in the Boston/Cambridge area get their CO2 cylinders (5-20 lbs)? I imagine prices must vary, refill-exchange, etc, I'm curious to compare people's experience. Also, saves me the hassle of calling around, ah, ah.
Thanks.

I guess that buys me some time, ultimately I still need to find out where to refill/exchange.
What size are the full ones, how much?

we use a welding supply shop in Worcester
there is probably a couple in or near Boston
just try "welding supplies" in the yellow pages

not sure the price...
$60 - $80 for the tank
and $30 for a refill rings a bell

You can buy tanks and get them refilled at Linde gas in Billerica.

I get mine from a beer and wine-making supplier, so that's another type of place to look. I bought my tank there and just exchange it when it empties... maybe 2x/year.

If you have any paintball shops around you should ask them.

Paintball uses a different type of CO2 tank, you'd need to get a different type of regulator to attach it. Red Sea makes one. Someone else probably knows where to get an adapter for a regulator to fit these smaller CO2 tanks.

I also use a welding supply shop. They exchange the empty tank for a full one for $9 (10# tank)

I don't live anywhere near Boston so prices may vary.

Thanks to the folks who posted. Special mention to Alextal who suggested Linde Gas.
Just for future reference, I ended up going to Linde Gas on Vassar Street in Cambridge (by the MIT campus). They charge $120 for the tank (20 lbs) and $24.91 for refill (20 lbs).
