Hey

I bought a small green leather coral from you two weeks ago. It was doing good for about 3-4 days... now none for the past week and a half it hasn't extended it's polyps. It still stands up straight but just doesn't extend his polyps. It's high in the tank and has medium current. The hairy mushrooms I bought the same day are doing great!!

Anything you can do? Anything I can do?

it is not abnormal
for leather corals to close in their polyps

sometimes for weeks at a time

I don't know why...

just because it can do no harm...
try a 20% water change
(if it's a new tank and you've never done a water change,
call us first)

also try twice weekly light feedings of
DT's Phyto Plankton
and/or
thawed Cyclop Eeeze
