And my family thinks it's unusual to have the tanks we have. Wait until I show them
the other posts here!
  • 55 gal - Angels, Clown Loaches, assorted Corydoras, Cardinal tetras, unknown
upside catfish (seen about once a month)
  • 55 gal - Pseudotropheus saulosi
  • 30 gal - Julidochromis marlieri
  • 30 gal - Labidochromis caeruleus
  • 30 gal - Apistogramma borellii, unknown spotted pleco, Corydoras, common guppies, Caridina japonica (amano shrimp)
  • 20 gal - Java ferns
  • 10 gal - Guppies, Blue lobster
  • 10 gal - Guppies
  • 10 gal - Swordtails, Dwarf gouramis, Neon tetras, Corydoras, Cherry barbs, Guppies
Years ago I also had a 6-ft 135 gal. But I gave up on that size after the front pane cracked in the middle of the night. Water poured out until enough pressure was relieved. It was a frantic night of moving fish to other tanks and draining the rest of the water out.

The mfg (I don't even remember what brand - this was years ago) replaced the tank. Months later, the replacement leaked at a bottom plate seam. :-( That's when I decided to stick to my trusty 55 gal tanks - which must be in use 30 years now.

I miss the big tank, but unless I can locate it on a concrete slab floor with a drain in the middle, I'm passing.

Tanganyikan Joe - thank you for your service.

BTW, the guest post from today is me. I posted from work so it did not include my name. And no, it is not made up.

:( All I currently have is one 75 g Malawi Hap & Peacock Tank :(
Stocked with:
2 C. Moorii 2-3"
Trio Prot. sp Taiwan Reef
Trio Copadichromis Chrysonotus "True"
4 F, 1M Red Shoulder Peacocks
one Trinidad Pleco "Cosmo"

I'm probably a little overstocked because of the moorii but maybe this can be my "excuse" for getting a 125
