All plecos like to chew driftwood.
So i would put a nice yucky driftwood in any Pleco tank.

The oldest pleco I ever heard of was 8 years old.

Royals are Panaque..they need clean water and wood & algae to eat. The max out about 9 inches.

Gold Nuggets are Baryancistrus

biggest i ever saw was 4.5"

"common " plecos I call Trinidad Hypostomus,,
they get HUGE 14"+
they are messy,
but boy, they eat algae good
