After a water change, when I add my tap water ( 20 GALLONS ) to my tank , can I add API stress coat conditioner straight into the tank after the new water or should I fill up buckets with tap, then add the conditioner to sit around a while before pouring into tank?

THANKFUL FOR ANY ADVISE TOM A.

I would put a little water conditioner into the bucket of new water
and let it mix as the bucket is filling

doesn't matter that much, 'tho
it basically works instantly against chlorine

by the way, people tend to over use water conditioners,
just use according to directions on the bottle
