I just started a new tank (my first), 38 gal. I currently have had 3 mollies and 1 platy in for the past week, and I'm wondering what are some good suggestions for more fish to add.

I was thinking of adding a school of fish (6-10?) - either tetra or barbs. Would those work?

I stopped by the store and picked up:

1 dwarf gourami
2 spotted cory cats
5 harlequin raspbora

They look great and seem to be doing well in their new home

maybe swing by the store in about a week and we'll test the water for you...
bring about 3 ounces of tap water
and about 5 ounces of tank water and we'll see how it's doing

also in about 2 weeks you should start to see algae on the walls
at that time you will probably want to add some algae eating fish

And once you pick up an algae eater and all the nitrates, etc balance out, you definately have enough room to bump up those harlequins and cories.

Trust me, its way more impressive watching a bunch of shoaling or schooling fish than a handful. They're less stressed too.
