hi, i bought a pair of you're Orange Australe killifish. i'm just wondering what you were feeding them, as everything i offer mostly gets chewed and spit out. i've tried flake food, freeze-dried bloodworms+ tubifex, even algae tabs. the food that gets the most response is the flake food, but as mentioned before, they take it in but spit it out. they're in a 12 gallon eclipse tank with 3 guppies, 5 neons, and an albino bristlenose pleco. could it just be stress or are they just not hungry? how often were they fed? i feed my fish a little in the morning, and the same at night. i usually skip feeding for one day a week as i was told to by numerous resources. the tank has been going for about a year now, and the killis are the first fish i've bought in a few months. all the pH, nitrates and everything are fine. i just tested them, and i did a partial water change a couple days before i got them. any suggestions?

you need to get some frozen foods

frozen brine, frozen bloodworms

if you are having seafood for dinner
fish, shrimp, anything...
save a little piece (raw)
and smash it up fine
and try putting a little of that in

they are not too fussy

give me a call if you have any problems

oh double check your temperature

anything from 70 - 80 is fine

way above 82 they might not be happy

also keep all killis
shallow
tank lid closed
and have floating plants
