Hi Ned i have a idea- you could put a bunch of sponge filters( dirt magnets) and box filters in a tank and let them sit. You could sell them for like $5-7 more than shelf price.
Most beginners i know get very frustrated with NTS and quit the hobby. Just tryin to keep people in the hobby. Maybe your good dirty water is just as good-I dont know thank you good bye

PS have any krausii left? wish i found them long ago.
