I've read here and there that Florida/American Flag Fish can be mean/aggressive. Are they worth having to eat my bba off my poor plants? Would anyone say they are better than Rosy Barbs at this? Wouldn't barbs be a no no with 5 angelfish?

I've tried excel a few times and lost 3 blue rams. :(

Thanks.

florida flags will eat it (yah, sometimes mean) none in stock
SAE's will eat it $5 each in stock but might be sick, call ahead
Amano shrimp will eat it $3.50 each in stock and healthy

don't know about rosy barbs
never seen them eat it
med-lrg males in stock $7 ea
kind of aggressive

I've had rosy barbs that cleared up a BBA problem, I think they may nibble on plants too though. I personally recommend SAEs; they are algae eating machines and have never harmed any of my fish or plants.
