Uncle Ned,

I would like to redo my tank with sand and put in Comp shells in it.

I would like to trade in some of my current fish and get some sand and the shellies.

Do you have the comp shells in stock?

Do you have sand in stock & how much would I need for a 36g bf?

The fish I would like to trade in are 5 juvi calvus, 4 brichardi, 1 j. dickfeldi, 2 p. salausi & bn pleco.

Thanks,

Xavi

I have shells, what's a " Comp Shell".

around 20 - 30 pounds ... we have several kinds.

The Saulosi are a little questionable with the others you mentioned.

Altolamprologus sp. "compressiceps shell"

I would like to trade these fish for the shellies and some sand. Pay whatever the difference may be.

I would like to start a little colony of the Alto comp shell and in the future add some sort of rock spawner and possibly paracyps.

Maybe a bit of an explanation of what has been going on in my tank may help me get the best mix of fish for my tank.

I had a bunch of mbuna in my tank and made some trades with friends to get some smaller fish. I wound up with 8 brichardi, 2 salausi, and 3 j. dickfeldi.

I purchased a group of juvi calvus from you about a month ago becuase I felt they would be a great centerpiece for the tank.

People have told me the the salausi should go because they don't mix well in a Tanganyikan tank. I have also been told that the brichardi will take over the tank once they start to pair up. The 8 brichardi are now down to 4 and it looks like the two pair are fighting it out for dominance.

I don't think that I will be able to keep them in the tank a breed anything else.

I really like the look of the altolamps, but people have said that a trio of adults, which I would eventually like to have are too much for the tank.

If I can keep a trio of calvus with some other fish, that is what I'd really like to do.
I also want to switch over from gravel to sand. I think that it will make for a better looking tank.

I don't think I understand your typing.
Maybe call and ask for Ned.

I have Altolamprologus Sumbu Compressiceps dwarf in stock.

I can give you about a 30% store credit on sellable fish that you bring in, provided I don't already have a million of them.
