Last week my afra was holding and I wanted to put her by herself in a 10 gal. Well, I chased it around with a net and I think I stressed her out enough that she either spit out or eat her eggs. I noticed my polit is holding now- what's my best chance to keep and raise the fry?

well the best way to catch a cichlid,
(besides pulling all the decorations and draining the water)
is to get a plastic PVC pipe,
or similar shaped object,
let her swim into it
then pull the whole pipe fish and all,
then put it in the brooding tank
