Hello again, I have a Percula Clown from Neds, and a few months later i added a (pink tip?) anenome, but they never "hung out". Have i learned that a clown and host anenome must be purchased together as a couple? If so, can i do this if i already have one Percula Clown?
Thankls

I would just be patient...
I've even seen a clown fish move into a condylactus (Atlantic) anemone...I would just wait..they might make freinds

actually
if it was a "Haitian Pink Tip Anemone"
that is a large type of Atlantic Condy
...so..
it is unusual for a clown fish to move into it
but
I have seen that happen once or twice

..ideally you should get a pacific anemone
(not sure which species...depends on which clownfish)
most of which are more expensive than Atlantic anemones
most of which need very bright light (which is expensive)

Thanks for reply. I am the guy who recently had his anenome stuck in the filter. Long story short, he eventualy went to marine heaven. I was curious about the "Host" deal since i wanted to purchase another anenome. It probably was the one you mentioned, the Haitan, because i remember it being inexpensive and i dont have "great" lighting. Do you have any of these in stock? and/or an anenome for a 36 with only "medium" lighting? I hope to swing in on Sunday.
