I have two 30 gal. tanks and I want to know if I could put them together so that the width is goin to be 24 inches.

This would make it 60 gal. and allow me to get a Jd and more.

I was wonderin though if it would hold or if i would need to just get a tank.

if you are talking about rebuilding the 2
so that you would have a 60 gallon Wide Tank...
it would require a lot of dismantling and then rebuilding...
also it would look funny (big patch down both sides)...
it can be done...but it's a lot of work...
come down the store and I can show you how...
frankly 'tho it's so much work
your better off just buying glass and building it from scratch...
you'll need at least 3 large pieces of glass for the repair,
so I suggest just buying 5 large pieces and make it brand new....
also we could get it made for you...
I just got off the phone with Oceanic for a quote....
very expensive....
36 x 24 x 18" $1000 (67 gallon)
36 x 24 x 24" $1300 (90 gallon)...
in the store I happen to need a new stingray tank
48 x 48 x 20" $3000 (190 gallon)
...so I've decided to try building it myself

some prices for standard Glass aquariums:
[dimensions are LENGTH x WIDTH x HEIGHT in INCHES]
AG 40BREED TANK (BLACK only) 36X18X16 $105
AG 50GAL TANK (BLACK only) 36X18X18 $133
AG 65GAL TANK (OAK or Black) 36X18X24 $170
(take up to 25% off the above prices if buying a whole set up)

other prices are at:

I've never built a plywood tank...
sounds like a lot of work

Do you think I could get 1 Jack dempsey and 2 firemouths by using a 40 gallon with a 30 gallon sump or would 40 gallons be too small?( I am thinking it would be too small)

Do you consider JDs wetpets? I want something that will acknowledge me.
