Hello, this is my first post! Well, I wanted to know if there are any techniques to increase mechanical filtration within a wet/dry filter? I thought about trying to hook up a canister filter in the sump, but I don't know how to get pass the whole gravity issue. I would really prefer to hide it in the sump. Or another technique is place the inlet and outlet of a canister filter in my overflow. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Derrick

Put a big foam block on the intake of the pump in the sump.
Just be sure to clean it fairly often.
