I am running a Fluval 404 in a 75 gallon, currently holding 13 Tanganyika cichlids. I have the water out on the far left side and the intake in the center of the tank at the substrate level. I was wondering if I should place a power head for more water movement on the right side of the tank. I do plan on adding another 10 fish in the near future.

Thanks for the advice. Do you have any recommendations as to the powerhead or quick filter?

Ned do you have the hagen 802 w/quick filter attachment in stock? Also you were expecting the Black cichlid substrate from Carib Sea, is that in yet? I am looking for the 50 lb bag of black.
