This summer we are getting a koi pond, it will be arond 8' by10' and 3' feet deep. What would be the wright amount of koi for that size of pond.

and 3' feet deep

8x10=80 that's the area
80x3=240 that's the volume
240x7.45=1788 that's the gallons (there is 7.45 gallons in a cubic foot)
1788 divided by 150 = 11.92 that's the number of koi you should get (11 or 12) Koi need about 150 gallons of water per fish to grow correctly.
