Hi Uncle Ned,
I have a red tailed Prochilodus and I was feeding him zucchini (along with regular fish food). I read something about having to boil the zucchini first, some people say just cut it up... what would you recommend?

usually I feed it raw

if you want to soften it slightly
depending on the fish
maybe boil for 1 minute only

some people are telling me they are feeding boiled carrots to fish
I haven't tried it

wash any produce very well
in cold water at least
before feeding
