Thanks, we were talking about them with Sam earlier when he showed us the pit bull pleco you have which looks completely different. These are about 1 1/2" and at the widest part about 1/4" wide.

The images are not cropped, they are straight off the phone.

Hey Marcy,
Your fish are definitely Parotocinclus and I think they are the true pitbull plecos - P. jumbo - see here at planetcatfish.com http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/sp ... ies_id=236

The ones at the store are just hulking great big ones! :) They seem to loose some of their more intricate patterning with age.
