Need any? I have a slew of them I'd like to bring in, all ages/sizes
I'm getting out of Vics and going back to Malawi 8)
Vics are just too successful at breeding!

I bought the original half dozen many years ago at the annual ACA convention. They were sold to me as nyererei.
Funny thing is, I have kept NO other vics EVER and the 6 fry I purchased grew out two types of male colorings. Some are classic nyererei with blazing reds, and others are all dark blue with light blue fins with red edges. Unfortunately it seems I got either a mix or hybrids.
Pretty fish though.
These are the two types:

Sure, I understand.
I'll try Craigslist or something ? I suppose I could kill them if that's what is recommended in this case. I have never sold or traded these but alas that vendor years ago had many to offer. I just hate stuff like this!

I'll call in a couple days - I'm on the road for business 8)

Or hey, can I buy about 20 Calvus? I'd just let them eat the fry and let the fish eventually die out. I put my Champsochromis in with them but he's a wimp and the Vics continue to breed!
I wouldn't mind having a Tang. tank at the end of it all either.

can I buy about 20 Calvus?

of course
probably would grow like crazy on hap fry if they could catch them

the problem with using cichlids for feeders
is baby cichlids grow so fast and are so smart
(and they are spiney and maybe not super delicious)

I don't know what to do with them

almost anyone will buy a really colorful male of anything
