Starting to develop in interest in these and Tyrannochromis,so I wondering of you ever get any in or see them on your lists.

not real popular (no color)

full grown males very colorful
need very BIG tanks

The Orange Spot is a real nice fish! Takes a long time to color up but worth it!

I hope you have a balance of aggression in your giant size tank. I had one of these cichlids before and this thing was demon :twisted: . He was extremely territorial in the 125 I had with other cichlids (Mostly Mbuna). He was a male and had that deep purpleish body with a rich orange dorsal.

If you are looking to keep this guy by himself he is definately a beauty, if not you will need to have a huge tank in order to disperse the aggression among the african cichlids (This is African Cichlid 101)
