Ned, I have a frontosa that's about 8"-9"". I was told (a couple years ago) when I bought him (not at your store) that a 55 gallon tank would be large enough for him, but clearly that is not the case. He is good sized and definitely a dominant male. I now realize that I don't have the space for him and I'm wondering if you are interested in taking him. Great fish....love him to death, but I simply don't have the room in my current tank for him. I would say (from observation) that fronts need a minimum of 100 gallon tanks and what I currently have (55) doesn't come close to meeting those needs.
