Dear uncle Ned

I was looking at 75 gallon aquarium and I saw that all of my fish were close to the bottom and there mouths we're moving rapidly so I went and checked my water and every thing was fine

In the tank I have

12 African cichlids
1 albino Oscar
1 Pleco
1 synodontis
1 raphael cat
And another small cat

I was wondering if anything like this happened to you if so can you tell me how to treat it thanks

P.s. the Oscar is new

change half the water
(use dechlorinator such as aqutan according to the directions)

check for too much heat (above 85 degrees F is dangerous)

make sure you have maximum oxygen
you want at least 2 pumps moving the water

(by the way: oscars are usually a bad mix with africans)
