I have a 90 gallon Mbuna tank and a 55 Gallon Tanganyikan tank (which will be upgraded before long). I have been playing around with which tank is more appropriate for the Jewel Cichlids and Red Back Scrapers. I know neither is totally ideal, and if they won't work then I will have to deal with that. They are all pretty young right now (1.5"-2.5") and seem to do okay in either (except if the large jewel is with the smaller scraper, it will bite the tail). Any opinions on which will work best when they get a little older?

I've mixed jewels, victorians, and malawi mbuna before
with no more than the usual cichlid problems.
