Here we go - any thoughts welcome. I have a 90 gal. tank that I want to raise some BIG fish in. I'm thinking of a couple of albino oscars, couple of JD's, couple of tin foil barbs and maybe a nice LARGE pleco. I would raise them from juveniles together to better their chances of getting along. Also max out the filtration, obviously. Whadya think? Asking for trouble?
Thx

Heya

Uhm...So does 'monster tank' mean a tank full of monsters or a tanks that is monster sized? Regardless...

As juvies it may all work out, but then again the JDs and the oscars might tear eachother apart. As they get bigger, 90 gallons is not large enough for all 7 of those fish. I would keep ONLY the pair of oscars or ONLY the JDs. But then again, that's me.

Also, if you want to restrict yourself to a few large fish in a bigger tank, there are far more interesting fish than oscars and JDs for all that trouble....

Good luck!
