Bettas and Cory

Who plays nicely with whom? Will these breeds share a tank without eating each other? "Dis is da place"

Postby TropicalFishGuy » Fri Jan 29, 2010 7:47 pm

I have 1 Betta and i have heard that they are compatible with corys. I am soon to get a 10 gallon tank(maybe and will plant) and am wonderig if i can have both fish without conflict?

I heard albinos(which i might get unless you have a cheaper price) didn't get along as well. is that true? also what is your price on All corys you have?

Albinos get along as good as any. The species that you most often see as an albino - aeneus - is actually one of the best choices if you are going to keep an unheated tank. Most other corys will suffer at room temperature.

If you will have a heater there are literally hundreds of types of fish you can keep with bettas (just not other bettas and their relatives)

Cory Aeneus - Albino Large $5 each
Cory Panda - Small $7 each
Cory Sterbai - Small $9 each
Cory Metae - Large $8 each
Cory Loxozonas - Med $6 each
Cory Reynoldsi $13 each
Cory Elegans - Med $5 each
Cory Paleatus - med $4 each
Cory pygmaeus - Med $3.50 each

Others around too and more on there way I'm sure.
