I have a large pleco (11 inches) in a 55 gallon tank. If I were to put in freshwater plants, would he eat them?

a big pleco will surely eat sword plants
but maybe not feathery plants like cabomba

generally we do not put plecos in planted aquariums

yup my small (2-3 inch) plecos always scrape any swords i try to put in there. I'd catch them if i could!
