Are there any fish that eat BBA besides SAEs? My SAE has retired and I'm having trouble finding a young'un!

i believe amano shrimp eat BBA, but also rosy barbs have been known to eat BBA, and i believe black mollies eat it occasionally as well.

The Florida Flag fish WILL eat the BBA. Cherry red shrimp will too, but will eat "easier" pickins' like leftover food or other algaes first.

I've read that Amano shrimp don't eat BBA, but I don't have firsthand experience with this.

in my experience sae's are the best for eating bba.i have also
witnessed rosy barbs eating bba.the rosy barbs seemed to
constantly pick at it while they were aggresive during
spawning.if you have a male and female rosy barb this is
pretty much all the time.
