About a month ago i added a sixline wrasse but he only lived a couple days and completely dissapeared. After checking water parameters, all seemed ok. Last Friday i purchased another sixline wrasse from a differant store. I went with a very slow drip method acclimation of 2 hours. Everything seemed great for 5 days, swimming with others and eating. I saw him Thursday am before work, and never seen him again! Here were his tankmates:

small-med yellow tang
percula clown
lawnmower goby
small pajama cardinal
choc chip star
and about a dozen small crabs/snails

This is all in a 26 bow, which i know may have been a bit small.

any theorys?
I was hoping the sixline wrasse would help the bristleworm population.

well
they do hide VERY well

I doubt the fish you mentioned would have killed him

If he did die then the crabs and bristleworms ate the body

He might still be there
wrasses like to bury in sand

I searched about 2 hours on and off last night, so i will keep trying and keep my fingers crossed. If he is in fish-heaven, does it seem peculiar i keep losing this species?

Keep an eye on the chocolate chip starfish.
They are a carnivorous star.
I saw one catch a clownfish once.
Don't ask me how he did it, but he was able to get one leg on it, and that was all she wrote.

Just my 2 cents......
