 I had a couple of pairs of Apisto. Panduros pair off. Here's some photos from when they first paired, before their first spawn.

Great pics.

Did they show any evidence of interest or pairing previously, or did it occur spontaneously? I have two, but I can't call them a pair yet, and am curious if something will develop over time. I've read Panduro's can be more picky with mate selection than other Apisto's. Do you have other fish in the tank or is it a dedicated breeding tank?

The male shows off for the female by flashing his side and flaring his fins. Eventually if she doesn't harass him he'll start guarding the female's territory. I have a 20L that's setup with lots of driftwood, and a sand bottom. I regularly drop Catappa leaf in the tank for leaf litter and perform infrequent water changes.
