Sam,
It turns out, the Loricariids that came in marked L-208s, that looked a lot like L-147's are actually L-387's!(so confusing) This is a really cool find. Thanks so much for pointing them out to me. Their dentition gave them away as a Peckoltia sp. I've got them settled into a 20 long with many hiding places and a cave. The lighting in the 20 long is low, and the conditions are "blackwater" from the previous tenants. I'm going to keep these guys on a twice-weekly water change regimen.

These guys are good eaters. So far, they'll eat almost anything, including sponge filters and each other. I needed to get them out of the holding tank.

hey,
looks like we might have one L147 in a 40 gallon tank with the moonlight gouramis. Let me know if I should hold it. I might be able to get some pics in on Sunday if you want.

It should still be around - last time I checked it was in a 40 gallon tank with a bunch of clown plecos and some Syno angelicus on the metal stand near the indoor pond. The tank has been sick recently ( the angelicus have been mysteriously dying - but the plecos look ok) so you might want to wait on picking it up. I can try and get a pick on wednesday or thursday if you're eager.

-Sam

p.s. how are the new guys doing?

well
good question

I will try to get in touch again with the breeder
maybe she has pics of the actual parents

but they should be
the fish in the top 3 pics

even tho the colors are different
if you look close the patterns are all the same

(the one showing all the bright orange
looks like it was in sunlight when photographed)

anyway
she said she bought the parents from me
(I'm assuming from the November '08 batch)
